Who I Work With

Care for the people who need it most, wherever they enter.

Referred by a court, brought in by a parent, worn down by years of managing it alone, or already walking the road back — every entry point is a valid one.

Court-Ordered

Court-Ordered Individuals

Assessment, treatment, and documentation for those referred by the courts, probation, or an employer. Clear reporting and honest communication — with a plan that satisfies the requirement and still belongs to you.

Adolescents

Troubled Youth

Young people whose choices have begun to narrow their world. Care that respects their autonomy, speaks plainly, and involves family where it helps rather than harms.

Adults

Struggling Adults

For anyone caught between wanting change and not knowing where to begin — substance use, stress, isolation, or a life that has gone quiet. We start with where you are today.

Recovery

Recovering Adults

Support for those already in recovery who need steady ground underneath them: follow-up care, wellness practices, and a place to work through the seasons when motivation thins.

The Stages of Change

Readiness is not a requirement. It is a place on the map.

Recovery does not move in a straight line, and nobody begins at the same point. Knowing which stage you are in decides what the work should actually be — and makes room to re-enter without shame when it circles back.

01

Precontemplation

Change is not on the table yet. There may be pressure from others and little sense that anything is wrong. The work here is not persuasion — it is building trust and offering information without shame.

02

Contemplation

The costs and the benefits of the current pattern both become visible. Ambivalence is normal and is not resistance. We weigh honestly what change would ask of you.

03

Preparation

A decision begins to form. We build a concrete plan: what will change, what support is needed, and what the first small step looks like.

04

Action

The plan is carried out. Sessions focus on skills, structure, and stabilization while the new behavior is still fragile and the old pattern is still close.

05

Maintenance

Recovery becomes a practice rather than an event. We strengthen routines, relationships, and the wellness habits that hold change in place over time.

06

Relapse

A return to old patterns is common, and it is not the end of the work. We treat it as information, revisit the plan without shame, and re-enter the cycle at the stage that now fits.

Approaches

How the work is done, not only what is offered.

SFBT

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy

Rather than tracing every root of the problem, SFBT asks what change would look like and what is already working. Sessions stay brief, directed, and oriented toward the next practical step you can take.

Strengths

Strength-Based

You are more than a diagnosis or a history. Assessment looks for the abilities, values, relationships, and resilience you already carry — and builds the plan on that ground rather than on deficits.

You Lead

Person-Centered

You set the direction. Clinical skill and honest counsel come from the clinician, but the goals, the pace, and the definition of a good life remain yours throughout the work.

Not sure which service fits? That's part of the conversation.
